Year 5 Home Learning

Here are a variety of links and activities to support Year 5 pupils and parents when learning at home. If you have any queries or requests, please contact Miss Griffiths at or Mrs Morris at (weekdays between 8.30am-3pm). If you want any photos or work from home displayed on this page, Miss Griffiths would love to see it and will place it in the section at the bottom of this page.

You can use this timetable to support your home learning – any resources included in this timetable are located in the relevant section of the Y5 Home learning page. We will also be following this timetable with the pupils in school. Please remember that these are just suggestions of how you might structure the day – there is further guidance (including videos, links and ideas) on the Y5 Home Learning page. We hope that you have lots of fun and enjoy your learning!

Some of you have been in touch asking for some help with converting between fractions, decimals and percentages. First off, there are some facts you need to learn (see poster below) and then I’ve made a video lesson explaining the different conversions (with related worksheets underneath) – hope that helps 🙂

Pupils can access Purple Mash at using their normal log-ins (if you need this, please email Miss Griffiths). There are set activities on there, but pupils can also access all other activities. I have set activities covering a range of subjects.
