We currently have a ‘LEARNING SUPPORT PRACTITIONER’ vacancy.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic candidate who can develop either a 1:1 mentoring relationship with children needing particular support where necessary aimed at achieving their individual learning goals or in a supportive role within the classroom.
We require someone who:

• Will enjoy working with our delightful children
• Has a vibrant personality and good sense of humour
• Will have experience working with children with SEN or other similar needs
Applicants must have excellent Literacy/Numeracy skills. All candidates must have good interpersonal skills and an ability to be an effective team player. Ability to support the teacher in the planning and delivery of learning activities.

Candidates must have a clear philosophy of how children learn best, evidence of excellent practice, a positive attitude and adaptability, a commitment to continual professional development and be able to work effectively as part of a team contributing original and innovative ideas so that the children’s learning is enhanced. Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile and Development Matters would be desirable, as would experience of working within an Early Years setting.
