A message from Miss Cope

Ash Green is more than just a school, it’s a family and our main aim is to keep all of our children and staff happy, healthy and safe. As you are aware, to be able to do so means we are having to take the necessary precautions and align with the government guidance. We know as a school it can be incredibly frustrating receiving new government notifications outside of school hours but I am regularly updating our school Facebook page and emailing information out as I receive it. We know that this is an unsettling time for us all but we urge you to please take care and look after yourselves. I would like to extend my thanks to all staff, parents and members of the wider community for supporting us all in this difficult time.

Home learning

If you pop along to our school website, www.ashgreenprimary.co.uk, you will see that the teachers have been very busy uploading useful website links and resources to support learning at home. The resources support many different areas of the curriculum and revise many of the skills the children have already learned in class. Many other schools have recommended a daily schedule of learning to keep children timetabled and focussed and the resources available online support this. There are many different educational websites that we use in school who are currently offering free downloads. PLEASE make use of them – they are a brilliant support!
