Ash Green Primary Academy would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our prospective new families, thank you for taking the time to consider us for the start of your child’s school journey!
The Reception year is so very important and we pride ourselves on offer a caring, stimulating environment, which is specifically designed to meet the needs of four and five year olds.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer our usual prospective parent visits to the school as Government guidance advises restricting visitors onto the school site. This allows us to keep our staff and children as safe as possible and limits the risk of introducing any new infections to our school community. We are of course disappointed that we cannot meet you and show our amazing school to you in person but hope, that by looking at the videos, PowerPoints and information below, you are able to get a flavour of our school. This video was filmed after a bust December school day this year, so please excuse some of the mess on the floor! Our classrooms are busy, child-led environments which we hope you appreciate as you watch!
To ensure a smooth transition between home and school there are usually many opportunities for parents and children to visit the school to take part in a variety of activities prior to full time attendance. Whilst this year’s transition has needed to be carefully arranged due to the coronavirus pandemic and Government guidance, we sincerely hope that things are back to normal for our new children starting in September 2021. We will keep you updated along the way and share any new information through this page and our social media feeds. So, please keep an eye out!
