Miss Shacklady (3KB)
Born in Southport, I moved to Stoke-on-Trent to do a Law degree at Keele University. I then enjoyed working with families in a Child Protection role for three years, but wanted to work in a position with more positivity (so gave teaching a go)! I trained for my PGCE at Nottingham University and undertook my first year of teaching in Year One in a Nottinghamshire school. New to Year Three and to Ash Green, I am loving how enthusiastic and well behaved the children are!
Mrs Lloyd (3DL)
I have always wanted to be a teacher and I achieved this in 2008 at Derby University where I completed a B.Ed (Hons) Primary Education degree. Since qualifying I have had the pleasure of teaching in a variety of schools in both Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, they have included both main stream and special needs schools. I am passionate about every child achieving their very best in an environment where they feel safe to learn. I am currently the Art leader in school and I am enthused to support Ash Green Primary in our transition to becoming ‘a clay school’ and the opportunities it will bring to our children.
