September 2023:  We have been awarded the Silver P4C SAPERE award!

Comments from the assessor: I am very pleased to tell you that Ash Green Primary Academy is to be awarded a SAPERE Silver Award for your dedication and progress in establishing P4C in your school.  Our award assessor commented on the variety and depth of reasoning from children, as well as the strong commitment from staff and leadership

In September 2022, we were awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark for the second time – an award that shows our commitment and work towards continued improvement of the Science teaching and learning across our school.

Congratulations to our kitchen team for retaining their 5-star hygiene rating – well done!

In March 2022, our Year 5 classes took part in the Northwest Drama Shakespeare festival. This involved creating their own performance based on ‘Macbeth’ and performing it in front of hundreds of people at the New Vic theatre. Have a look at the gallery to the right:

Congratulations to our swimming team! The girls won the girls’ trophy and the team were overall winners at the Town Swimming Gala.
